Kind, Devoted, Heart-Centered Brooklyn Family Seeks Loving, Mindful Nanny

ROLE: A kind, dedicated, and family-oriented Brooklyn family is seeking a compassionate and mindful nanny to become a part of their home. We are very excited to be welcoming our first little one earthside in April or May this year. We look forward to having you in our lives for many years ahead! LIVE OUT ONLY AND LOCAL ONLY. Please DO NOT apply without a genuine love for children, the mindset, or professional experience.

START DATE: May 2026. We are actively interviewing now! We cannot wait to meet you.

WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: One newborn baby girl

OUR CHILDREN ARE: We haven’t met her yet but love her deeply and can’t wait for her to join us this April/May.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Our hope is to raise a child with deep capacity they can draw on in any circumstance, unshakeable self-trust and self-respect, the discipline to bring their wildest creations to life, and an innate curiosity and kindness toward the world around them. In childhood, we believe this begins with respect for the baby and their physiological needs, connection-driven leadership from the adults around them, delighting in our child, attunement to their needs, observing and investing in their gifts, uninterrupted time for focus and exploration, abundant time in nature, and a family-centered (rather than child-centered) household. My husband, small manufacturing/biotech startup. He loves taking walks, reading, traveling, and horology with small makers. I’m the COO of an Astrology company. Prior to this, I ran a nature-based preschool, led sales and EDI teams at Google, and operated my own pasture-raised poultry farm. I’m also a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and trained in pre- and perinatal trauma through Castellino Training. I love gardening, swimming, sauna, hiking, strength training, and cooking. We’ve been together for nearly 12 years and have lived in NYC for the past six. More important than what we do professionally are our values. We value cultivating the capacity and capability to do hard, rewarding things through devotion and discipline. It’s also important to us to protect energy and space for creation—whether that’s dreams, visions, art, or any form of self-expression or exploration. We believe in respecting all layers of our community and treating our bodies, minds, and spirits with care. For us, health truly is wealth. We view nannies as professionals and, therefore, are committed to maintaining clear expectations and boundaries to set everyone up for success! Additionally, we are looking for a nanny who:

Is ultimately aligned with respect, uninterrupted play and exploration, and calm, unhurried, attuned caregiving. We love many elements of RIE, Montessori, and Waldorf.

Is open to traveling approximately once per month. I travel for work, primarily to the west coast. We aren’t yet sure what the exact frequency will look like in the coming year.

Can help with light home organization tasks, such as restocking supplies, organizing baby area, cleaning bottles and keeping a tidy environment.

Enjoys getting outdoors. It’s very important to us that even as a baby, our child spends as much time as possible outside, regardless of weather.
