Role Overview
The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young learners. This role involves delivering high-quality Early Years instruction, fostering creativity, and supporting children’s holistic development in alignment with GEMS Education standards and KHDA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning -
Deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum to support holistic child development.
Classroom Management -
Create and maintain a safe, positive, and well-organized learning environment that encourages independence and respectful behavior.
Student Support -
Monitor each child’s progress and provide targeted support to meet individual learning and developmental needs.
Collaboration & Professionalism -
Work closely with colleagues and leadership while participating in meetings and ongoing professional development.
Parent Engagement -
Build strong relationships with parents through consistent communication and regular updates on student progress.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification

Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).

KHDA approval (or ability to obtain it).
Experience

Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience in an Early Years / Kindergarten setting (preferably in the UAE).

Experience with EYFS, play-based learning, and inquiry-driven classrooms.

Strong classroom-management abilities.
