We are looking for a friendly and efficient BOH - Team Member to join our team. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving coffee, food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Location: Sharjah, Dubai & Ras Al Khaimah

  • Kitchen Assistant: An entry-level role perfect for someone eager to learn the basics of a professional kitchen.
  • Kitchen Crew Member: An experienced cook who can work efficiently across different stations.
  • Kitchen In-Charge: A leadership role for someone who can oversee kitchen operations during a shift.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP).

  • Follow all recipes and plating guidelines with precision.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to our quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire kitchen and front-of-house team.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.

Kitchen Assistant:

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping).
  • Ensure all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Take out trash and compost as needed.
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn is essential.

Kitchen Crew Member:

  • Prepare and cook menu items efficiently and accurately across various stations (e.g., grill, sauté, fry, salad).
  • Set up and break down your station before and after service.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the Kitchen In-Charge.
  • Ensure food is held at correct temperatures and rotated using the FIFO system.

Kitchen In-Charge:

  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team during your shift.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before it leaves the kitchen.
  • Assist with inventory management and placing orders.
  • Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Handle minor operational issues and communicate effectively with management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Kitchen Assistant:

  • No prior professional experience required; we will train the right person.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for food.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Kitchen Crew Member:

  • years of experience in a similar cook/line cook role.
  • Solid understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services.
  • Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.

Kitchen In-Charge:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or lead cook role.
  • Strong knowledge of back-of-house operations, food costing, and inventory.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a calm demeanor during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in hospitality (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule (weekends/holidays as needed).
