Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for kitchen countertop projects
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain the benefits of various materials, finishes, and lighting options
• Assist customers in selecting countertops that align with their style and functional needs, upselling premium options when appropriate
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, and customer account management
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering remodeling advice, and maintaining ongoing client relationships
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock levels of countertop materials and related products
• Support marketing efforts by promoting new products or design trends through in-store presentations or digital channels

Skills

• Proven experience in high-end retail sales environments with a focus on interior design or renovation products
• Strong negotiation skills to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of construction, remodeling processes, and maintenance requirements for countertops and kitchen fixtures
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain product features and design options to clients
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Ability to upsell premium products through persuasive product demos and personalized recommendations
• Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and retail math applications
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail merchandising standards, and cash handling procedures
