Kitchen Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision, provide expert advice, and create layouts that enhance both form and function. Your ability to upsell products and services while delivering exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their kitchen design needs and preferences.
• Utilize design software such as 20/20 to create detailed kitchen layouts and 3D renderings.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances that align with client budgets and styles.
• Conduct inside sales by effectively communicating product benefits and features to customers.
• Upsell additional products such as lighting fixtures and cabinetry options to enhance overall kitchen design.
• Manage the entire design process from initial consultation through project completion.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current kitchen design trends and innovations.
• Assist in retail sales by providing excellent customer service and support throughout the purchasing process.
• Participate in outside sales efforts as needed to expand client base and drive business growth.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software, particularly 20/20 is essential.
• Strong sales skills with experience in inside or outside sales preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Experience in layout design, lighting sales, or retail sales is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
