Kitchen Equipment Technician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of kitchen equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, and more. You will also ensure that the equipment meets safety and quality standards and complies with local and federal regulations.

As a kitchen equipment technician, you will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair kitchen equipment and appliances
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen equipment and appliances
• Install new kitchen equipment and appliances according to specifications and instructions
• Test and calibrate kitchen equipment and appliances to ensure optimal performance
• Replace or upgrade defective or worn-out parts and components
• Document and report all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and staff on kitchen equipment and appliances
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and industry standards and codes

Job Requirnments: Candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 2 years of experience as a kitchen equipment technician or similar role
• Knowledge of hot and cold equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with spare parts inventory and ordering
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to use various tools and equipment, such as multimeters, gauges, and soldering irons
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Availability to work on call, weekends, and holidays as needed
