Kitchen Manager

Job Overview:

Oliv Eatery and Bakery is seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing training and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage food costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to develop and update menu offerings based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
  • Implement and monitor cost-control strategies to optimize the kitchen's profitability.
  • Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Ability to manage inventory, budgeting, and cost controls.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Culinary certification or degree is a plus, but not required if experience is strong.

  • Italian Cuisine Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
