Kitchen Manager Job Summary:
Are you a culinary leader with a passion for providing nutritious and delicious meals in a healthcare setting? We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee food service operations in our skilled nursing facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring residents receive high-quality meals while leading a dedicated kitchen team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Kitchen Manager Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and dietary regulations.
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain menus in collaboration with dietitians to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency while maintaining portion control and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Enforce sanitation and food safety standards in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Coordinate with nursing and dietary teams to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions.
Kitchen Manager Required Education Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of kitchen management experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal food safety regulations
  • Experience leading and developing a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a passion for serving others.
