Kitchen Steward

Job Summary:

Sharjah Palace Hotel is looking for an active and hardworking Stewarding Staff to support the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, washing area, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure proper garbage disposal and waste management procedures.
• Support kitchen team with basic cleaning tasks as required.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Clean kitchen floors, walls, drains, and storage areas.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
• Follow instructions from Chef and Stewarding Supervisor.
• Maintain proper cleanliness of dishwashing machines and equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotel or restaurant stewarding is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and able to work long standing hours.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be available for immediate joining.
• Candidate must be currently in the UAE.
