We are seeking a Klaviyo Email Marketing Specialist with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Klaviyo, specifically within eCommerce environments. This role requires advanced expertise in lifecycle strategy, automation architecture, and performance optimization, using Klaviyo as a primary growth and retention platform.

You will be working with an established U.S.-based organic toys eCommerce company, collaborating closely with a U.S.-based team to scale email into a core revenue-driving channel. This position offers the opportunity to apply strategic thinking, data-driven execution, and sophisticated automation to support long-term, sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Own the email lifecycle and retention strategy in Klaviyo, with clear accountability for revenue, engagement, and customer growth

Architect, build, and optimize advanced Klaviyo flows, including:

Welcome and brand education flows

Abandoned browse, cart, and checkout recovery

Post-purchase education, cross-sell, and replenishment flows

Win-back and churn-prevention programs

Product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional sequences

Design and maintain advanced segmentation frameworks using behavioral, transactional, and engagement data

Lead a structured testing and optimization roadmap across campaigns and automations

Monitor and optimize core performance metrics, including revenue per recipient, conversion rates, engagement trends, and deliverability health

Translate data insights into clear recommendations and documented best practices

Maintain best practices for list hygiene, compliance, and inbox placement

Collaborate cross-functionally while working directly with a U.S.-based organization

Required Expertise

2+ years of advanced, hands-on experience with Klaviyo for eCommerce brands

Proven ability to build and scale complex flows, automations, and conditional logic

Strong understanding of eCommerce lifecycle marketing, retention strategy, and customer value optimization

Advanced proficiency in segmentation, event-based triggers, and dynamic personalization

Data-driven mindset with experience optimizing email programs for measurable revenue impact

Strong English writing skills with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and conversion

Preferred Experience

Experience working with Shopify-based eCommerce stores

Familiarity with subscription or repeat-purchase business models

Solid understanding of email deliverability and engagement best practices

Experience integrating email strategy with SMS or other retention channels
