Kitchen and Laundry Equipment (KLE) Technician

Job Purpose

Performs repairs and maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.

Key Relationships

· FM Manager and Supervisor

· Building Supervisor

· Technicians

· Client / Tenant

· Any other individuals/departments within the company required to support the site contract.

External:

· Management of the Subcontractors/Suppliers operating on behalf of Mirage PFM as required.

Accountabilities

· To ensure that kitchen and laundry equipment are in good working condition

· To perform repairs and replacement of kitchen, laundry appliances and other electronic devices (i.e. TVs, etc.).

· To recommend to the FM Supervisor if the equipment is beyond repair and needs replacement or repair.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform kitchen and laundry appliances repairs and maintenance.

· Ensure that small equipment and appliances are serviced/cleaned regularly and in good condition.

· Ensure that equipment serves its useful life and extend lifecycle where possible on spare-parts availability.

· Respond to client complaints / requests promptly and courteously and resolve any faults at the shortest possible time.

· Attend to the commissioning of new kitchen and laundry equipment installations if required.

· Any other duties / responsibilities as assigned time to time based on business requirements.

Skills

· Knowledge and ability to repair appliances and electronic devices.

· Thorough knowledge of related field.

· Effective communication skills.

· Ability to read technical drawings, and to know commissioning procedures.

Language:

· English

Education & Qualifications

· Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Maintenance Engineering

Experience

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in appliances maintenance
