KNX Engineer

We are looking for the immediate hiring of a KNX engineer to join us in this journey.

Role Overview

The KNX Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and maintaining smart building automation systems using the KNX protocol. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, clients, and technical teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and user-friendly lighting and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop KNX-based automation designs for lighting, HVAC, blinds, and other building systems.
• Create and modify ETS projects, including group addresses, scenes, and logic functions.
• Integrate KNX with DALI, BACnet, Modbus, and other protocols as required.

Commissioning & Troubleshooting

• Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and validation of KNX installations.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.

Documentation & Coordination

• Prepare wiring diagrams, schematics, and redline drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of programming logic, device configurations, and system architecture.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, and contractors during project execution.

Client Interaction & Support

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Offer post-installation support and system upgrades when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• KNX Certified (essential)
• Experience with ETS software and KNX-DALI integration
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and low-voltage protocols
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years in building automation or smart lighting systems
• Familiarity with tunable white technology and scene-based lighting design
• Exposure to BMS platforms and IoT integration

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
