Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Homeroom Teacher to join our team at GEMS British International School Cairo for the academic year 2026-2027. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that adhere to the British Curriculum for Year 4 students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote individual growth.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their educational experience.
• Establish a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and engaging them in the educational process.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continue enhancing instructional practices.
• Support students' social and emotional development, fostering positive behavior and resilience

Requirements

The successful applicants will have the following:

• A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for students.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• A valid teaching certification/license from your home country.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Aspirations to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments that accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and innovative teaching practices.
