Job Title: L2 Server Support Engineer

Experience: 2 - 4 Years

Location: Bangalore

Note: Immediate Joiners are Preferred.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled L2 Server Support Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in VMware, O365, SharePoint, Teams Access, and the latest Windows Administration technologies. The role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Administration & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide L2 support for Windows Server environments (latest versions).
  • Manage and troubleshoot VMware, VSphere/VCenter, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and File Servers.
  • Monitor server health, performance, and security patches.

O365 & SharePoint Management:

  • Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Manage user access, security policies, and permissions in O365.
  • Ensure SharePoint site configurations and Teams Access Management.

User & Access Management:

  • Manage permissions, roles, and policies in AD, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Resolve escalated L2 tickets related to user access, security, and compliance.
  • Support enterprise applications and collaboration tools.

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure patch management, vulnerability assessment, and server hardening.
  • Enforce security policies and compliance standards.

Backup & Disaster Recovery:

  • Manage server backups, restoration procedures, and DR strategies.
  • Work with backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, or similar tools).

Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Work closely with L1 support teams and escalate issues to L3 if necessary.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Windows Server Administration & L2 Support.
  • Strong expertise in O365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams Access).
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
  • Knowledge of server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
  • Experience in backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
