Duties

• Safely load, unload, and transport laboratory samples, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens, adhering to safety protocols for hazardous or sensitive materials.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet tight schedules while maintaining punctuality.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Communicate effectively with lab staff and clients to confirm deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns for manual transmission vehicles or commercial trucks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably with route driving responsibilities.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items safely and efficiently.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
