Job Summary

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for collecting patient samples, performing routine laboratory tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate reporting while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood, urine, and other samples following standard procedures
  • Perform routine lab tests and assist in specialized tests as required
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the laboratory
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Record test results accurately and maintain lab documentation
  • Follow NABL, safety, and infection control guidelines
  • Coordinate with doctors and front office for timely reports

Qualifications & Experience

  • DMLT / BMLT (mandatory)
  • Valid registration (if applicable)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or diagnostic lab preferred
  • Freshers may be considered based on skills and training

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer knowledge and report entry
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
