Lab Technician

About the Role:

The Lab Technician Role will include the following activities:

• In-process production testing
• Finished good certification testing
• Daily lab activities and upkeep
• Research and development experiments to determine process improvements
• Other tasks as assigned by Lab Manager

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another relevant field
• 2-year degree with relevant work experience will also be considered

Critical Traits:

• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Fermentation process experience (especially if in a production plant environment)
• Experience with analytical equipment and methods such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, and Ion Chromatography
• Experience with basic wet chemistry methods and solution making
• Aseptic technique
• Experience with micro testing
• Experience with Data Analysis
• Research Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
