Senior Technologist - Microbiology

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, specialized, and proficiency tests (culture, serology, parasitology), analyze results, and ensure accuracy and compliance with SOPs.
• Assure all quality controls, handle abnormal results, maintain proper storage, and support audits and compliance activities.
• Maintain analyzers, perform periodic maintenance, monitor stock and consumables, and manage department inventory and logs.
• Supervise staff activities, manage workflow in absence of staff, mentor juniors, and coordinate with managers and biomedical teams.
• Support research activities, follow infection control standards (ISO/CAP), and perform any tasks assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Sc, / M.Sc / BS Biological Sciences or MLT
• Experience: 05 to 08 years of experience as Staff/Senior Technologist within Microbiology
• Job Shift: Rotational (Morning, Evening & Night)
• Location: Korangi Crossing, Karachi
