Sr. Technician

Required Qualification, Experience and SkillsKey Responsibility & Duties:-

· To support the FEC operation on all technical and maintenance issues;

· To perform amusement equipment start up and shut down operations during opening and closing times as per the procedures prescribed;

· To maintain and repair all amusement equipment; To install and set up new games and equipment as necessary; To maintain tools and supplies necessary for maintenance of arcade games and equipment in a good condition; To log and report equipment defects for proper warranty handling;

· To patrol the FEC floor continuously and ensure that all machines are functioning appropriately; To maintain relevant safety standards on the floor by ensuring tools, machine parts, electrical wires, etc., are not exposed to the customers of the FEC;

· To liaise with Technical Supervisor and follow his instructions on machine faults on a daily basis; Ensure that all machines meet the required safety standards before customer use;

· To maintain the amusement equipment to optimum standards through constant testing and

regular servicing, paying particular attention to safety for both the public and staff members;

· To monitor and record the use of spare parts, notifying the Technical Supervisor on stock levels, ensuring adequate levels are maintained to sustain machine performance. To prepare and submit reports on a daily basis on all work carried out and any parts used.

· To maintain, daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules as laid out by the Technical Manager.

· To duly fill in the log book for each machine after every service call;

To assist the Arcade Game Staff on an as required basis with service credit issues, machine operation, servicing, etc.; to be an active team member; to handle any other related task as assigned by the management. The role will also include assisting coverage of floor staff when business requirements are needed.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

Qualification

Pre University Degree +/or A Certified diploma or Degree in Electrical.

· At least 2 years of Hands on Work Experience in servicing Electronic Equipment or Mechanical Devices or both. Prior

Experience

Experience in Amusement Equipment, Rides, Television Servicing an advantage

Skill Required

Technical:-

· Experience in servicing Electronic Equipment or Mechanical Devices or both.

· Prior experience in Amusement Equipment, Rides, Television Servicing an advantage

General:-

· Proficiently speak, read and write English and Urdu

· Should have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Should also be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical instructions and schematics.

· Should be Computer Literate with ability to communicate with external vendors using email, internet, etc.

· Reasonable skills in customer service principles

· The Preventive Schedule of the Facility dictates a Preventive Maintenance Task list for all games and rides

· The Preventive Task List is a set of tasks designed to be performed Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly and Yearly

· These tasks include,

o Working at Height

o Heavy Lifting

o Hourly Rounds

o Cross-city Market trips for Purchase of Parts / Tools etc.

o Usage of Power Tools (Grinders, Cutters, Welding Machine)

o Usage of Heavy Maintenance Equipment for Attraction Rides

Mental

· Requires dedicated attention and focus and extreme analytic and problem solving skills for deducing errors in different machines and games

· Requires the ability to comprehend Maintenance Manuals and Online Material for solving tricky Electronic and Mechanical faults in different machinery

Working conditions
