Lab Technician – (Dubai- DCL Experience Only)

We are looking for an experienced Lab Technician with DCL experience to join our team for infrastructure construction projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct material testing for construction materials as per project specifications, approved standards, and consultant requirements.
• Perform routine laboratory and site testing for soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, bitumen, cement, steel, and other civil construction materials.
• Prepare, maintain, and update test reports, laboratory records, sampling records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with Material Engineer, QA/QC team, site engineers, consultants, and approved third-party laboratories for testing and inspections.
• Ensure all tests are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, ITPs, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Support material sampling, trial mixes, compaction tests, sieve analysis, moisture content tests, concrete cube testing, asphalt testing, and field density tests.
• Maintain calibration records of laboratory equipment and ensure equipment is used safely and correctly.
• Assist in material approval procedures and ensure test results are submitted on time.
• Report failed test results, non-conforming materials, or quality issues to the Material Engineer / QA/QC team immediately.
• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and documentation requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Testing, Laboratory Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Lab Technician in roads, infrastructure, bridges, or civil construction projects.
• DCL experience is mandatory / highly preferred.
• UAE construction project experience is required.
• Experience in RTA projects will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction material testing, laboratory procedures, sampling, reporting, and documentation.
• Familiar with relevant testing standards such as ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and project specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Candidates available in UAE and able to join immediately will be preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Dubai RTA / infrastructure project experience.
• Experience with contractor or approved laboratory in UAE.
• Knowledge of DCL testing procedures, material compliance, calibration, and QA/QC documentation.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
