Lab Technician I

What You'll Do:
The Soils Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Soils laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.
- Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
- Document activities and report results accurately and concisely
- Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
- Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred
- Willingness and ability to work Night Shift (generally 6 pm - 8 am). Actual shift time will vary depending on business need
