Lab Technician - Medical Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and prepare patient samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.)
• Perform routine laboratory tests such as CBC, glucose, lipid profile, urine analysis, culture tests, etc.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment like microscopes, analyzers, centrifuges, etc.
• Ensure accurate testing and timely reporting of results
• Maintain proper documentation and update patient records
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory
• Handle chemicals, reagents, and lab instruments safely
• Assist doctors and nurses with test-related queries
• Calibrate instruments regularly and report any malfunctions
• Maintain stock of lab consumables and request replenishments when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)
• Experience in hospital/clinical laboratory preferred
• Knowledge of pathology, microbiology, hematology, and biochemistry tests
• Good understanding of safety and hygiene protocols
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Basic computer skills for report entry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
