Key Responsibilities:

• May assist to answer phone calls according to lab protocol.
• Assists Laboratory Technologist to receive samples and ensure that all samples are tracked and notifies any discrepancies immediately.
• Assists to sort specimens, accession, prepares and labels samples/specimens.
• Prepares lab equipment for upcoming laboratory activities.
• Assists laboratory technologist with experiments and procedures.
• Assists in cleanness and maintenance of lab equipment as per Lab Technologists' instructions.
• May perform clerical and administrative duties as needed.
• Helps maintain the cleanliness of the lab facility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, major in Biology or Biochemistry preferred
• Prior work experience in Biology or Biochemistry Laboratory work is preferred
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Detail-minded and high degree of accuracy
• Bilingual (English and Chinese) preferred
