Laboratory Chemist

Detail-oriented and highly skilled laboratory chemist with extensive experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Proficient in analytical and synthetic chemistry, regulatory compliance (GMP, GLP), and method development. Proven track record in supporting drug discovery, formulation development, and quality control initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute chemical experiments related to drug development and pharmaceutical testing.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished drug products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR, and Mass Spectrometry.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods in accordance with ICH guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA/QC, and regulatory affairs to support formulation and stability studies.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and laboratory documentation ensuring compliance with cGMP and GLP regulations.
• Monitor laboratory safety protocols and maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in troubleshooting complex analytical or synthetic challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred for senior roles).
• 2-3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
