General Summary
Drives a vehicle to pick up, deliver and properly store specimens and other materials. Establishes rapport with clients through timely service and a willingness to answer basic and/or account related questions while on site for pick up or delivery. Follows the proper procedures in conjunction with the established quality control requirements.
Principal Job Functions

*Transports specimens and other materials to various client offices and laboratory sites via automobile.

*Maintains a log of items received and delivered through the tracking system.

*Services vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.

Refers vehicle service issues to management.

Must maintain confidentiality of patient and specimen information.

Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.

Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Education And Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Other Credentials / Certifications
