Laboratory Technician

Main Purpose:

Perform advanced laboratory procedures and support Lifera Omics research and diagnostic projects, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with protocols and safety standards. Ideal for professionals with solid experience in molecular diagnostics and genomics.

Area of Responsibility:

Perform laboratory procedures including PCR, ELISA, DNA/RNA extraction, and sample processing.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.

Record, compile, and analyze experimental data accurately.

Support optimization of laboratory protocols and workflows.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Assist in training junior staff when needed.

Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory or related field (master’s preferred).

Saudi Council for Health Specialties License.

Work Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience of laboratory experience in clinical, research, or biotech settings.

Proven experience with molecular diagnostics, genomics, or clinical laboratory operations.

Skills and Methodologies:

Advanced proficiency in molecular biology techniques and laboratory instrumentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow protocols accurately and ensure data quality.

Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
