Laboratory Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial laboratory setting and a solid understanding of laboratory procedures. This role involves performing various laboratory techniques, ensuring quality control, and contributing to data collection efforts in both clinical and research environments. A background in molecular biology and microbiology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses following established protocols.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments and tests.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning through regular maintenance.
• Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize veterinary terminology when handling samples related to animal health.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
• Document all procedures, results, and observations accurately in laboratory records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and microbiological practices.
• Ability to collect and analyze data effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Understanding of quality control measures within a laboratory setting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
• A degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred but not mandatory.
