Job Description – Labour / Helper

Position: Labour / Helper (Unskilled / Semi-skilled)
Job Type: Full-time / Contractual
Location: Factory / Warehouse / Construction Site

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move raw materials, tools, components, and finished goods.
• Assist machine operators, fitters, welders, electricians, or technicians in daily tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, shop floor, or site.
• Carry materials to machines and shift finished goods to storage areas.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and company work procedures.
• Adhere to all safety rules and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
• Report unsafe practices, damages, or incidents immediately.
• Support in basic maintenance or general site tasks when required.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass.
• Experience: Fresher or 1–2 years in factory / warehouse / construction work preferred.
• Skills:
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to lift and carry loads (10–30 kg).
• Discipline and punctuality.
• Willingness to work in shifts (day/night).

Work Environment

• Shift timings: 8–12 hours (rotational).
• Work setting: Plant floor, warehouse, or project site.
• Physical tasks: standing, bending, lifting, and carrying.

Salary & Benefits

• ₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month (varies by site & contractor).
• Overtime wages as per company norms.
• PF, ESI, and other statutory benefits (if under contractor payroll).
• Subsidized canteen and transport facilities (where available).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
