Lady Governess

Position Summary:

The Lady Governess will be responsible for the overall grooming, mentoring, and supervision of school-going children. She will play an active role in developing the children’s manners, etiquette, discipline, and daily habits. The role requires a mature, well-spoken, and responsible individual who can serve as both a mentor and a companion, ensuring the children’s well-being, safety, and personal development throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

Child Mentoring & Grooming

• Guide and mentor the children in table manners, personal discipline, etiquette, and social behavior.
• Encourage good study habits, moral values, and confidence in communication.
• Engage the children in meaningful conversation and educational activities to enhance their spoken English and general awareness.

Daily Supervision & Escort Duties

• Arrive early in the morning before the children leave for school.
• Accompany and escort the children to and from school safely.
• Remain with the children throughout the day, including during tuition sessions, extracurricular, and sports activities.
• Supervise their routine until bedtime, ensuring order, hygiene, and proper time management.

Coordination & Household Liaison

• Coordinate with household staff and tutors to ensure the children’s schedules run smoothly.
• Communicate regularly with parents on the children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Maintain a caring yet disciplined environment conducive to the children’s growth and learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (strong educational background essential).
• Previous experience as a governess, tutor, or teacher with school-going children will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality, patience, and ability to positively influence children.

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
