Job Summary
The Lady Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well‑being of all female guests using the ladies‑only swimming pool and the ladies’ island beach. This role requires strong vigilance, quick response skills, and a high level of professionalism in maintaining a safe aquatic environment. The ideal candidate must hold a valid lifeguard certification and be dedicated to providing discreet, respectful, and culturally sensitive service.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Safety & Supervision
- Monitor designated swimming areas with full attention to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety at all times.
- Enforce pool and beach rules professionally and respectfully.
- Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies, performing rescue procedures when required.
- Administer First Aid and CPR as needed, following correct protocols.
- Ensure that only female guests enter and access the ladies‑only facilities.
Operational Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of pool/beach areas, safety equipment, and surroundings.
- Ensure water safety signs, flags, and barriers are correctly placed and visible.
- Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain logs of incidents, rescues, and safety checks as per hotel standards.
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Welcome guests politely and provide assistance when needed.
- Offer guidance about pool and beach safety, weather conditions, and swimming guidelines.
- Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional presence at all times.
Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Ensure that the pool deck, loungers, beach area, and equipment are clean and well‑organized.
- Support general cleanliness and sanitation procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
Compliance & Standards
- Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures set by the hotel and local authorities.
- Participate in regular lifeguard training, drills, and skill refreshers.
- Maintain professional grooming standards and adhere to the hotel’s code of conduct.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (mandatory).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (required).
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Previous lifeguard experience is preferred, especially in hotels or resorts.
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Physically fit and able to perform rescues when needed.
- Professional, courteous, and comfortable working in ladies‑only environments.
- Good communication skills; English required (additional languages are a plus).
