Watersports Attendant

A well reputed 5-star resort is looking for a Water Attendant responsible for setting up, maintaining, and guiding guests through a variety of non-motorized and motorized water activities. Your primary goal is to ensure guest safety while delivering a premium, high-energy experience that reflects our 5-star standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Instruction:
• Greet guests at the water sports center with a warm, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
• Provide clear instructions and safety briefings for activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.
• Assist guests with fitting equipment (life jackets, masks, fins) to ensure comfort and safety.
• Act as a guide during excursions, pointing out marine life and points of interest.
• Safety & Vigilance:
• Constantly monitor guest activities in the water to ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Be the first responder in the water for any guest in distress, providing immediate assistance.
• Maintain a watchful eye on weather and sea conditions, reporting any concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Conduct daily checks on all water sports equipment (kayaks, jet skis, paddleboards, snorkel gear) to ensure they are in perfect, safe working condition.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and the water sports center area.
• Report any damaged or lost equipment to the management promptly.
• Resort Representation:
• Uphold the resort's image by maintaining a neat, professional appearance (uniform, grooming) at all times.
• Assist in keeping the beach area tidy and presentable for guests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Water Sports Attendant, Lifeguard, or similar role, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star resort environment.
• Certifications:
• Valid Lifeguard Certification (e.g., RLSS, Red Cross, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• A valid boat driving/jet ski license is a strong advantage.
