Land Serveyor

Land Surveyor in Dubai's building contracting sector required capable of accurately measuring and mapping land, sets out points for construction.

Responsibilities include preparing survey reports and maps using specialized software, collaborating with engineers to provide critical data, verifying accuracy against project drawings, and ensuring compliance with local RTA and safety standards. The role demands proficiency with surveying equipment and CAD/GIS software, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting Surveys:

Performing precise land and topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and as-built surveys to determine property lines, elevations, and existing features.

Capable of using Surveying Equipment

Setting Out Works:

Establishing reference points, markers, and alignments on site for construction activities based on approved drawings.

Data Management:

Processing, analyzing, and maintaining survey data, reports, sketches, and legal descriptions of surveys using specialized software.

Coordination:

Working closely with site engineers, project managers, and other teams to ensure the accurate implementation of designs and resolving discrepancies.

Quality Assurance:

Verifying the accuracy of survey data, monitoring compliance with project specifications, RTA standards, and local regulations.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhering to all health and safety protocols on site and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using GPS, CAD, and GIS software.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret maps, blueprints, and legal documents to provide accurate data.

Education: Required degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering. Experience: Proven experience in construction site surveying, with specific knowledge of Dubai's local standards and regulations preferred.
