Land Surveyor

The main purpose of the Land Surveyor’s role is to execute land surveying work to obtain data for base plans as well as construction stake-out and boundary surveys.

• Support and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
• Support the development of KSA national employees across the function to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and lead the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP
• Track assigned KPIs
• Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff
• Assist with performing layout work competently and accurately
• Provide checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations (for invoicing purposes)
• Prepare documentation of surveying activities
• Maintain condition and adjustment of surveying instruments
• Coordinate surveying activities with the assigned engineer to meet the construction requirements
• Ensure the respect of the company’s and the client’s quality standards
• Ensure full adherence to safety standards on site
• Perform additional assignments as per the Chief Land Surveyor’s direction

• Bachelor in a related field, relevant technical certificates
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
• Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
• Experienced in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
• Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language
• Good knowledge of ALTA’s, Boundary, and Topographic surveying along with construction staking and GPS experience for land development projects
• Good knowledge of land surveying principles and practices
• Good knowledge of the construction Safety Standards
• Knowledge in Construction Management.
• Knowledge in business advisory.
• Knowledge in QA/QC management.
