Job Title: Land Surveyor
Job Summary:
The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate land and site surveys to support construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves setting out works, verifying site measurements, and ensuring all activities comply with approved drawings and UAE regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform land and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments
- Set out works as per approved drawings (roads, buildings, utilities, etc.)
- Establish control points, benchmarks, and reference lines
- Verify dimensions, levels, and alignments on-site
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, and documentation
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy of work
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare final survey records
- Monitor and maintain survey equipment
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between drawings and site conditions
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in survey equipment (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS)
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and site layout
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar
- Good understanding of UAE standards and regulations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities)
- Familiarity with authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
