Land Surveyor

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading all surveying, setting-out verification, and dimensional control to ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specs, client, and Dubai authority requirements.

• Establishing and maintaining survey control tied to DLTMDLTMDLTM and DMDDMDDMD, and verifying the Contractor’s control and setting-out for roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, and structures.

• Checking alignments, levels, cross-sections, gradients, super-elevations, and issuing Survey NCRs where required.

• Verifying roadworks, structures, tunnels, and utilities geometry, and carrying out monitoring surveys for movement, settlement, and deflection.

• Verifying topographic, pre-construction, and as-built surveys; preparing sections and volume calculations to support quantity verification and payments.

• Managing survey instruments and calibration records, maintaining survey documentation and registers, and preparing regular survey reports.

• Coordinating with the Resident Engineer, site team, Contractor’s surveyors, and authorities (DM, RTA, DEWA, utilities) and attending technical/progress meetings.

What Required skills you’ll bring:

• Bachelors in Surveying / Geomatics / Civil Engineering, or Diploma in Land Surveying with strong relevant experience.

• Minimum 10 years’ land surveying experience on construction projects, including 7years on major infrastructure and 3years in the UAE/GCC.

• Strong knowledge of DLTM, DM/RTA survey specifications, geometric design standards, and construction tolerances.

• Expert use of Total Stations, GNSS/RTK digital/automatic levels; strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills.

• Strong report writing, accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

What Desired skills you’ll bring:

• Dubai Municipality / RTA approval as a Land Surveyor.

• Experience with 3D laser scanners and Trimble Business Center or similar survey software.

• Proven experience on complex road, bridge, tunnel, and multi-utility projects in Dubai.

• Experience supporting DM, RTA, DEWA, and other authority audits and submissions.
