Key Responsibilities
Surveying & Site Analysis
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and land surveys to determine property boundaries, elevations, contours, and existing site conditions.
- Perform construction setting-out, layout, and staking for landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, softscape, swimming pool, and infrastructure works.
- Verify survey measurements and ensure the highest level of accuracy throughout project execution.
- Establish benchmarks, control points, and reference lines required for construction activities.
- Identify site constraints, discrepancies, and potential construction challenges, providing recommendations to the project team.
- Perform quantity and level verification before, during, and after construction activities.
Technical Documentation
- Prepare, review, and interpret survey drawings, maps, sketches, plans, and technical reports.
- Generate survey calculations, coordinates, level sheets, and measurement records.
- Produce as-built surveys and final survey documentation upon project completion.
- Maintain accurate survey records in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
- Support the preparation of authority submission drawings where required.
Site Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, and construction teams.
- Provide continuous surveying support during all phases of construction.
- Attend project meetings and advise on survey-related matters.
- Resolve site discrepancies between design drawings and actual field conditions.
- Ensure all setting-out activities are completed before construction begins.
Compliance & Equipment Management
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and safeguard surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS equipment, Auto Levels, and Digital Levels.
- Verify equipment calibration and measurement accuracy before commencing surveys.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities or consultants whenever survey approvals or verification are required.
Project Support
- Assist project teams in planning site activities by providing accurate survey information.
- Support multiple landscaping projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
- Monitor construction progress through regular site measurements and reporting.
- Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology, software, and industry best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably within the landscaping, infrastructure, or construction industry.
- Proven experience in construction setting-out, topographical surveys, and as-built surveys.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, site layouts, levels, and coordinate systems.
- Experience working on landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, and infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Skills & Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience using Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, Digital Level, and other modern surveying equipment.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project sites simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
