We are a growing, high-quality landscape company doing $400k annually with a dedicated, hard-working field crew. We have built our reputation on reliability and excellent work throughout the East Valley. Now, we are ready to scale our commercial and HOA division. We are looking for a driven, field-experienced professional to step out of the daily physical labor and take ownership of our client relationships, quality control, and new business sales.
Position Overview
This is a hybrid, hands-on role centered in the Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek areas. You will be the face of our company to local property managers and Homeowners Associations (HOAs). Half of your week will be spent in the field tracking quality control, auditing crew performance, and meeting with clients. The other half will be spent building relationships, calculating estimates, and winning new HOA maintenance contracts. [1]
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (Field): Visit East Valley job sites weekly to audit crew performance, generate punch lists, and ensure work meets strict HOA standards before the client notices any issues.
- Client Relations: Attend monthly daytime or evening property walkthroughs with HOA board members and property managers to review site conditions.
- Commercial Estimating: Review HOA Requests for Proposals (RFPs), take site measurements, and calculate accurate labor hours and material costs.
- Business Development: Proactively network with property managers to get our company on competitive commercial bidding lists for the upcoming budget cycles.
- Enhancement Sales: Identify upsell opportunities on existing properties (e.g., desert irrigation upgrades, tree trimming, winter turf overseeding, granite refreshes) and present proposals to clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the landscape industry (as a Lead Foreman, Supervisor, or Assistant Account Manager).
- HOA/Commercial Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Arizona desert plant palettes, turf management, commercial drip/sprinkler systems, and desert water management.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for tracking field notes, taking photos, and using landscape management software (or a willingness to learn quickly).
- Communication: Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for dealing with property managers and board members.
- Requirements: Must have a clean, valid Arizona driver’s license to operate the company vehicle across our East Valley service territory.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
