Landscape Architect

Responsibilities:

• Develop and present landscape design concepts, master plans, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers (PM) and Project Engineers to fully understand the scope of work, drawing requirements, and timelines before commencing drawing work.
• Prepare high-quality shop drawings promptly and ensure compliance with design and project standards.
• Extract accurate quantities from CAD drawings for the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Develop a weekly drawing schedule, coordinating with PMs on upcoming work, and prioritizing tasks to support project management effectively.
• Work with Project Engineers to ensure timely and accurate submission of as-built and shop drawings.
• Select appropriate materials, plants, and finishes based on climate, sustainability, and design requirements.
• Supervise site implementation and provide technical guidance to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
• Stay updated with industry trends, design software tools, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Engineering
• Proven experience as a Landscape Architect or in a related drafting/design role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Photoshop, and Google SketchUp; experience with other design software will be an added advantage.
