The Vibe
At GHI Engineers and Surveyors, we don’t just map out projects—we bring land development to life. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our team. If you’re passionate about turning raw site plans into vibrant, sustainable, and beautiful communities, we want your vision on our side.
What You’ll Do (The Short Version)
- Design & Create: Mastermind site layouts, grading plans, planting palettes, and outdoor spaces that blend seamlessly with engineering constraints.
- Lead the Vision: Take the reins on conceptual designs, rendering them into stunning visuals that make clients say, "Yes, exactly that!"
- Collaborate: Partner closely with our internal civil designers, engineers, and surveyors to take projects from a blank canvas to a finished build.
- Navigate & Deliver: Guide projects through the municipal approval process, ensuring compliance without losing your creative edge.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and a current PLA license (or a clear path to getting it soon).
- The Tech Stack: Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D is a major plus), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar rendering tools.
- The Know-How: Solid understanding of local zoning, grading, stormwater management, and plant materials native to South-Central Pennsylvania.
- The Attitude: You’re proactive, collaborative, and love solving the puzzle of how people interact with physical spaces.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- No Red Tape: We work fast, support each other, and celebrate wins as a team.
- Real Impact: You will see your designs built right in our local communities.
- Growth: Competitive salary, great benefits, and a clear track for professional advancement.
