Landscape Crew Leader

Job Summary
The Landscape Foreman leads daily field operations of their landscape crew, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and accurately to the project specifications. Success in this role is demonstrated through strong team performance, working within project scope, and open communication with management. The foreman plays a critical role in creating a culture that supports team success and long-term growth within the landscape division.

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Oversee and manage a landscaping crew, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

● Hold crew accountable for productivity and quality, report performance concerns to management.

● Enforce safety protocols, making sure all crew members are using equipment appropriately with proper PPE.

● Train and mentor new crew members.

● Maintain and ensure proper use and care of landscaping equipment and tools.

● Review and follow project guidelines, including sticking to scope and budgeted hours.

● Execute landscape maintenance and landscaping projects, including planting, mowing, pruning, and clean-ups.

● Communicate effectively with management regarding site conditions or changes

● Keep detailed records of work completed, including accurate timekeeping in Aspire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor construction fields.
• Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture principles, tree care practices, and irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with landscape construction projects and garden design concepts.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and coordinate tasks effectively.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
