Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as laying hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, hedge shaping, and shrub care to promote growth and safety
• Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed whackers, blowers) efficiently and safely during daily tasks
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and turf
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Assist with general site maintenance including debris removal, soil preparation, and minor construction or hardscape repairs

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Experience with land development equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, snow plowing, or other landscape services
