Position Available: Landscape Crew Member

Foothills Landscape Maintenance, LLC is a growing and well-established landscape maintenance company based out of Windsor, CO that serves the Northern Colorado area. FLM is now accepting applications for a Landscape Crew Leader.

Landscape Crew Member– Under the direction of a Crew Leader provide necessary labor for landscape maintenance or installation projects using hand or power tools or equipment. Conduct weekly maintenance of properties by mowing, trimming, pulling weeds, removing debris, and other similar duties; install plants, trees and hardscapes. Other landscape maintenance duties may be required. Snow removal is required in the winter months; other winter work may include winter cleanups and winter watering. Understand and implement company policies and procedures.

What you will do

• Maintains outdoor landscape appearance by cutting the grass using various commercial-grade riding mowers and walk behind push mowers.
• Maintains outdoor landscape appearance by edging and trimming the grass using stick edgers and trimmers along with walk behind edgers.
• Maintains outdoor landscape appearance by pruning shrubs and trees using hedge pruners, hand pruners, saws, pole saws, chainsaws, rakes, loppers, and similar hand tools.
• Maintains outdoor landscape appearance by pulling weeds and removing trash/debris from anywhere within the property.
• Improves the appearance of the property by completing assigned tasks such as removing and/or removing landscaping materials, such as mulch, rock, shrubs, and trees.
• Prepares for assigned landscaping work by gathering tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Ends the day by disposing of accumulated debris, replacing tools and equipment, cleaning out and refueling the truck.

Required Qualifications –

• A strong working knowledge of the tools, materials and practices for landscape maintenance or installation. Medium
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Medium
• Demonstrated ability to develop trusting relationships with customers and crew members. Medium
• An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals of varied backgrounds. Medium
• The ability as a representative of FLM to project a consistently positive, professional and competent image in all dealings with the employees and public Medium

Pay: $22.08 - $23.93 per hour

SNOW REMOVAL IS PAID AT $35.00 PER HOUR
