Duties

• Assist in landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, mulching
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning, trimming trees and bushes, and mulching beds to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently during daily tasks
• Use equipment like excavators, mini loaders and tractors for site preparation or large-scale landscaping projects under supervision
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for operating power tools and small machinery safely
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, tree care (trimming), and hardscape installation enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in horticulture, construction, or snow removal
