Landscape Designer and Architect

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture and design, with the ability to create innovative and sustainable outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Develop landscape designs using software tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for hardscape elements, planting plans, and irrigation systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for landscaping projects.
• Prepare construction documents and assist in project management throughout the implementation phase.
• Utilize GIS tools like ArcGIS and ArcView for site analysis and planning purposes.
• Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, sustainable design practices, hardscape materials, and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles and land surveying practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
