What You’ll Do
As a Landscape Designer at Chesterfield Valley Nursery, you’ll be responsible for preparing highly creative landscape design solutions tailored to diverse site conditions and client preferences. Your primary focus will be on designing uniquely desirable living spaces that are artistic, inspirational, and diverse in style and nature.
· Effectively uncover client needs and provide compelling solutions
· Create artistic and inspirational landscape designs
· Prepare accurate construction drawings and takeoffs (hand or computer rendered)
· Thoroughly perform site inventories
· Maintain high knowledge of landscape trends, features, and techniques
· Oversee and guide crews in implementing landscape designs to ensure precise and high-quality execution.
What We’re Looking For
· Exceptional portfolio of previous design experience
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University OR 5+ years of industry related design experience and training
· Fluent in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite
· Exceptional hand graphics and sketching abilities
· Strong horticulture knowledge
· Ability to present effective design proposals
· Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
· Excellent knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and techniques
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Competent in QuickBooks
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
