Lawn Care company is looking for motivated individuals to be part of a team that provides service and quality work. As a Landscape foreman, you will supervise and schedule the daily actives of our working crews. Part of this supervision includes overseeing all services provided by crews and ensure proper completion of scheduled work and customer satisfaction by ensuring services are completed in a professional and timely manner. Manage and coordinate large landscaping project.
Job Requirements
- Must have complete knowledge of how to use mowing and maintenance equipment inclusive of push behind mowers, rider mowers, zero turn mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, chain saw, etc.
- Make recommendations to improve operations, set goals, coordinates work flow.
- Respond to customer service complaints by phone, email, or meets with customer in person, answers troubleshooting calls, resolves problems that are of a complex nature and follows through until a resolution has been reached.
- Supervise maintenance crews and make adjustments as required to improve efficiency.
- Prepare write ups, counsel employees and train new employees.
- Takes inventory and plans for future demand and replacement of equipment. Lines out materials and deliveries for current and future projects.
- Assist in sales and bids.
- Oversee progress of all Landscape jobs and report back to office.
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude for all service personnel at all times.
- Issue routes for current day, collects routes and receipts for prior day; checks for accuracy of all paperwork turned in and submits it to office in a timely manner.
- Communicates with General Manager daily; brainstorms ideas to resolve company and costumer issues. Inspects vehicles for cleanness and damages.
- Assist working crews.
Skills and other Requirements:
- Experience in a leading position.
- Ability to communicate, motivate and orient other members of the crew.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to drive truck and hauling a trailer. Must be able to backup and park trailer.
- Drive company vehicle to transport crew to job sites.
- Capable of maintaining vehicle and trailers inclusive of checking tire conditions, replacing tires, check oil level, make oil changes, air filter changes, check break conditions among others.
- Maintain a good driving record.
- Must have an unexpired drivers license and proof of liability insurance.
- Must have personal mobile phone.
- Work outdoors for long periods of time in extreme temperatures.
- Capable of working long days during peak times.
- Capable of working weekends when needed.
- Capable of climbing a ladder up to 15 ft in height.
- Capable of lifting or carrying heavy equipment.
