Landscape Laborer

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and construction projects. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance landscape and lawns.
• Participate in tree care such as trimming and planting.
• Operate machinery, including excavators, for landscaping projects.
• Engage in hardscape installation, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct snow plowing and salting during winter months.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working and safe condition.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment operation and maintenance, but not required.
• Familiarity with plant types is a plus.
• Experience with gardening techniques and plant care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects is desirable.
• Candidates should be willing to learn new skills and techniques as part of their professional development within the company.
