Duties

• Safely apply pesticides and herbicides following all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to control pests and promote healthy plant growth
• Prepare and mix chemicals accurately using appropriate hand tools and power equipment for effective application
• Operate farm machinery, lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain landscape aesthetics
• Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, mowing, trimming, and general landscape maintenance tasks
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws
• Conduct routine inspections of land areas for pest activity or damage, reporting issues promptly for resolution
• Support farming activities such as planting, harvesting, or soil preparation as needed to ensure crop health and productivity

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving is advantageous
• Knowledge of pest control techniques and pesticide safety procedures is a plus
• Ability to operate basic farm equipment and perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills and following safety guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
