Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy, vibrant outdoor spaces.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping activities such as edging, digging, and installing hardscape features.
• Support tree care operations by performing tree trimming, planting, and general horticultural tasks under supervision.
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, raking leaves, and ensuring all equipment is properly stored.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators are highly desirable.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery is essential.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing will be advantageous.
• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures; willingness to learn new skills related to construction and landscape maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments; team-oriented attitude with good communication skills is important.
