Landscape Laborer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power equipment
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy turf and vibrant gardens
• Maintain landscape features by pruning trees, trimming bushes, and performing tree care activities with appropriate tools and techniques
• Operate machinery such as excavators and snow plows for site preparation or seasonal clean-up efforts
• Support hardscape construction by laying pavers, installing retaining walls, or other masonry work under supervision
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including irrigation system checks, gardening chores, and general site upkeep
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators or snow plows is advantageous
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles including plant care and soil management is beneficial
• Ability to follow safety guidelines while operating machinery like excavators or performing construction tasks
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with attention to detail in landscape maintenance activities

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
